The Sapphire Coast Racecourse is one of the best racing surfaces in Country New South Wales.
The Sapphire Coast Racecourse is operated by the Sapphire Coast Turf Club and hosts five TAB and three non-TAB meetings each year.
Its feature race meeting is the Bega Cup run on the first Sunday in February each year.

Sapphire Coast Turf Club is located on a picturesque 300 acre site on Sapphire Coast Drive at Kalaru, between Merimbula and Bega and Tathra.
It is one of the newest and most modern country racecourses in NSW with great spectator facilities.
Patrons can enjoy an unobstructed view of the racing action from most parts of the course including the Members Reserve and Function Centre and from the large, banked lawn areas.

The Sapphire Coast Racecourse proper has a 2000 metres circumference with banked turns and an all round width of 30 metres making sure no horse is ever without space. The track has a home straight being 400m long.
