Remarque is a colt by Snitzel out of Response which some punters will recognise is the same winning combination that produced 2018 Golden Slipper winner Estijaab.
Estijaab gave Hawkes Racing a huge season placing in the Silver Slipper before winning the Reisling Stakes and ultimately the Golden Slipper which was hotly contested with Tony McEvoy star Sunlight. Check Sportsbet Odds.
The unraced 2 year old is now set to follow in his brothers footsteps kicking off his racing career at Rosehill this weekend after winning two trials convincingly at his home track.

Those wins including his most recent 3.8 length win have seen punters and bookmakers alike take notice with Remarque being installed as a $17 shot to win the Golden Slipper with TAB’s all in markets.
“There is nowhere to hide and if you have a good one you just have to produce it,” Wayne Hawkes told RSN on Tuesday.
“It is not a stakes race on Saturday, it is just a normal race but I was talking to Michael this morning and he was pretty happy with how he worked this morning.
“It’s all systems are go for Saturday.”
The field for the Golden Slipper appears to be heating up already however with the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained Enthaar holding favouritism at the moment after an impressive trial at Werribee on Tuesday.
Enthaar is currently a $6 chance to win the $3.5m 2 year old race in the spring.
