A number of Coolmore owned three year olds have been listed for sale with all four currently in work and one having recently finished in the mix of a $500,000 race at Gosford on the weekend.
Coastwatch, O’president, Cape Breton and Starman are all listed for sale and set to go under the hammer at the Inglis Digital Sale this week with all four runners set to see there auctions end after midday on Wednesday.
O’president comes as somewhat of a surprise sale having run this past weekend at Gosford where he narrowly missed out on $500,000k in The Coast where he was runner up to Rustic Steel who managed to reverse the results from last time they raced.
Another surprise sale comes in the form of fellow Fastnet Rock gelding Coastwatch. The three year old placed behind In The Congo and Anamoe in the Group One Golden Rose before winning the Group 2 Autumn Stakes to kick off his current campaign.
Coastwatch and Cape Breton ran just nine days ago when they finished fourth and fifth in the Group Two Queensland Guineas at the Gold Coast on Hollindale Stakes day.
Cape Breton is nominated for this Saturday's Group Three Rough Habit Plate (2000m), a $250,000 race at Doomben.
Starman remains the final horse to go under the hammer and finished between O’president and Home Affairs in a recent trial and has won three of his eight starts to date.
Their initial yearling prices were: Coastwatch ($750,000), O'president ($520,000), Cape Breton ($600,000) and Starman ($500,000).
The quartet are raced by near identical ownership groups, headed by Coolmore.
At the time of writing, all current bids for the four three year olds sit below $250,000.
