ROSEHILL RACE DAY TIPS AND BEST BETS

Rosehill and Pakenham race tips

Coming into summer conditions at Rosehill look really good with the rail 4m out and even though the track grades as soft at the moment it looks set to be in the Good range come the first race.

Rosehill Race 1 - Shihonka - $2.35

Should be one to boost the betting fund at the start of the day for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable. Returning to the scene of her last win and with conditions to suit should see this out. 

Expected to take control and should lead throughout and win.

Rosehill Race 3 - Snitzonfire - $3.70

Looks to be a talent and looking to go four from four starts at Rosehill on Saturday for the same stable as Shinhonka. 

Won by 2 lengths on his last outing and looks to be better than most of these even with the top weight. Tim Clark takes the ride here and should be in the mix come the finish again.

Rosehill Race 4 - Mr Mosaic - $3.10

Comes into the race first up having won first up in each of his last three preparations with a record of 3 from 3 first up.

The stable usually gets them ready fresh and with the claim he gets into the race carrying just 50.5kgs. Should go close.
