The Jansz is a South Australian Jockey Club Group 3 Australian horse race for horses aged two years old run at set weights with penalties. Free $200 Bet

It is contested over a distance of 1200 metres and is held annually at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide during the Autumn Racing Carnival.

Prize money for The Jansz is worth $115,000.

The Jansz was first classified as a Listed race in 1985 and from 1987 onwards it was assigned Group 3 status.

From 1985 to 1993, the race was known as the National Stakes and from 1994 to 1998 it was the SGIC Stakes. Beginning in 1999, it was called the Stillwell Stakes and later it returned back to the National Stakes. From 2001 onwards, the race was named The Jansz.

2012 The Jansz will be run on the 12/5/2012.

2011 The Jansz National Stakes

Triple Asset's good form continued, racing just outside the early leader, Win For Wilson, before hitting the front in the straight and easing away to a very comfortable win. Win For Wilson held on for second and Gone Skiing finished well for third.
