Racing at Rosehill Gardens takes place on a Heavy 9 track and with the 10 races on the day could be a front runners track. Meanwhile in Melbourne, Flemington is expected to play in the soft range with no real track bias.
Rosehill - Race 3 - No Compromise - $2.25
This Waller runner has been in fine form recently winning his past two starts. The 4 year old has already beaten most of this field and the extra weight shouldn’t make to much of a difference.
Draws well and doesn’t seem to be affected by the wet track having won two starts back on a rain affected track at Randwick.
On the up and should be the one to beat.
Back No Compromise to win
Rosehill - Race 6 - Cisco Bay - $4.00
Second run back and won impressively on debut that day. Was heavily backed before the race and showed why when sitting close to the speed and letting down well round the outside.
We think the middle of the track could suit for front runners and if Cisco Bay replicates that form he should be hard to hold out. Zulu Oscar is the likely danger but the race maps for Cisco Bay to get the favours.
Back Cisco Bay to win.
Flemington - Race 4 - Royalzel - $3.30
A lot to like about the Sydney form of Royalzel here having won two out of the last three starts. The run in between can be forgiven after an awkward start and then never settling in the race cost the colt late.
Draws well and been supported through the week. Melham onboard an added bonus and should cope with the soft ground. Looks the one to beat.
Back Royalzel to win
