Hayes and Dabernig had prepared the filly for last month's Australasian Oaks with the daughter of Fastnet Rock finishing 2nd in the race, narrowly missing to Media Award in a driving finish.
Personal leaves the Lindsay Park training team after recording a 2 win from 14 start career including a disappointing finish in the South Australian Derby last time out.
The Coolmore-owned filly will head north in the US with Personal set to join the Chad Brown stable in New York. She will need to complete two days of quarantine before heading to Brown’s facilities. Definitely a much easier process than Cup runners arriving in Australia.
Brown has become infamous when it comes to competing in the Breeders Cup winning a total of 15 during his training career with the fillies and mares contest.
It’s not just the Breeders Cup either where Brown has enjoyed success also winning the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf five times and four editions of the Breeders Cup Filly and Mares Turf.
Personal has been sent over to compete with the one goal in mind and will contest the $2m Breeders Cup at Del Mar in California in November before the Coolmore team decide where to stud or send the 4 year old next.
The Coolmore filly currently doesn’t have a line in betting for the Breeders Cup with Mystic Guide leading the betting at $8.
The choice to run Personal in the US brings to a close another career for a talented 2020 Spring Carnival competitor after Russian Camelot and Arcadia Queen were lost to injury earlier this year.
