Kah is set to head to Queensland where she will team up with Maher and Eustace trained Generation who has been nominated for the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 worth $1m in prize money and one of the big races of the Winter.
The move North means that Kah will miss her hometown Group 1 the South Australian Derby however she is expected to head there after the Doomben 10,000 to compete in the Group 1 Goodwood the following week.
Kah has enjoyed success in Queensland in recent years when she won the Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup when she produced a barn storming run to get over the top of a strong field aboard Vega One.
“Next Saturday she will be up there, then to Adelaide the week after (for the Goodwood), then she’s hoping to get back up to Queensland after that,” Kah’s manager Lachie Weekley said.
“We will get Saturday out of the way first before locking in more but the Doomben Cup is on the same day as the Goodwood, so she will be in Adelaide that day.”
Kah will also ride the Peter Moody-trained Brereton in the Group 2 Champagne Classic (1200m) and again team up with Gollan aboard Ashgrove in the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate (2000m).
“There are quite a few others but they are the main ones,” Weekley said.
The three-year-old colt is rated a $26 chance by TAB and comes out of a fourth-placed finish in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes behind September Run in March.
