Kah, who we featured in our PGR Magazine just last month, is currently 26 winners clear of Damien Lane in the Victorian Premiership and has rides booked for all 4 Group 1’s on Saturday looking to add to her recent success in the Lightning Stakes last month.
Although the future champion is tearing up the form guide in Melbourne she only has one winner to her name in New South Wales out of 8 rides. With no winners at Randwick Kah will again be looking to set records on Saturday.
Jamie finds herself in demand from all the top trainers being booked to ride Haut Brion Her for Chris Waller in the TJ Smith, Cascadian for Godolphin in the Doncaster and a pair of rides aboard Queen Of Wizardry and Toscanini for Maher and Eustace.
“She suits (riding) 99.9 percent of horses at the moment,” legendary jockey and Godolphin assistant trainer Darren Beadman
“It will be great to see her up here (in Sydney) performing.”
Kah won’t be alone in travelling across the border however with Dean Yendell heading north to ride three year old Forbidden Love in the Doncaster Mile. As a lightweight rider Yendell is able to chase his 7th Group 1 victory whilst riding under 49.5kgs.
Michael Dee is another jockey on the move as he picks up a ride for Bott and Waterhouse with Yao Dash also in Saturday’s $3m feature.
With so many of the top jockeys heading to Sydney in the coming weeks its been confirmed that top hoop Willie Pike will be heading across to Victoria in order to take part in the Vobis race day at Caulfield.
