The Godolphin trained Anamoe is set to return to competitive action this weekend in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes and after the TAB posted an opening quote of $2.25 punters quickly smashed this price into odds on with the runner a $1.95 quote by the end of the day.
Anamoe will return to action having only competed in one trial as a lead up to the race as trainer James Cummings lays out a path for Anamoe to tackle the Randwick Guineas later in the Autumn.
The son of Street Boss had a stellar Spring Campaign having finish second in the Caulfield Guineas and Golden Rose as well as a huge performance in the W.S. Cox Plate where he finished second also.
Anamoe returns to the track with good company in the form of James McDonald who is set to partner the Godolphin Star on his return to the track.
In the same race the last start fillies and mares Magic Millions winner, Snapdancer has been an early drifter in betting moving out from an initial $4.50 quote out to $5 due to the heavy support for Anamoe.
Jockey Tim Clark will be partnering with Michael and Richard Freedman trained runner Tiger of Malay. Clark was last aboard Tiger of Malay when beating Anamoe in the Spring of 2021.
Elsewhere in the race Belluci Babe, Standout and Wisdom Of Water are all $11 out to $13 while Superium is the $26 outsider of those nominated for the All In markets.
