Brisbane Racing Club

The Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is the leading metropolitan horse racing club in Queensland, conducting 98 race meetings and hosting over 300,000 patrons each year.

The BRCs mission is to grow and develop horse racing in Queensland through driving an improved entertainment experience which increases attendances.

Having formed on 1 July, 2009, the BRC has been in business for two years. The BRC was borne as a result of a merger between the Queensland Turf Club (QTC) and Brisbane Turf Club (BTC).

The highlight on the Brisbane Racing Clubs racing calendar is the Brisbane Racing Carnival, run across five consecutive Saturdays in May and June, which features a rich program of Group racing including the Doomben 10,000 and the AAMI Stradbroke Handicap. The 2011 Brisbane Racing Carnival was highly successful with a total of 68,891 fans attending the five feature racing events. Brisbane Racing Carnival
