2015 Hong Kong International Day Betting Preview
It’s the biggest day on Hong Kong’s racing calender this Sunday, with four massive Group 1s on the card for Hong Kong International Day. The event attracts some of the world’s best horses and this year is no different.
We’ve also got a few Aussie gallopers going around, aiming to take it to the world like Monopolize in the 90s or Falvelon in the early 2000s. Here’s hoping one of this year’s crop gets the chocolates.
It’s a weak renewal of the 1200m HK Sprint and the omission of spring carnival star Chatauqua is a big loss. Reigning champion Aerovelocity has also been spelled which is a shame. Three time group 1 winner Gold-Fun ($2.30) won the lead up giving weight away to the other chances and still won with a leg in the air. Could jump odds on and very hard to see him beaten. Read more…
