There has been race meetings at the Grenfell Racecourse since the 1960's.
This meeting is called the Grenfell Picnic Race Meeting held in April each year.

The meeting at Grenfell Racecourse is held in April each year and they always get a good turn out by the towns people and visitors from far and wide including nearby rural towns.
There is lots of entertainment apart from racing including children's entertainment which includes a merry go round and a jumping castle, coffee stall and canteen with a wide range of foods and bar facilities will be available. Fashions on the field will be held along with live music and atmosphere.
