Grafton Racecourse is at Course Street, Westlawn, NSW 2460 approximately 630km from Sydney

Grafton has something for everyone, and annual events include the Bridge to Bridge Ski Race, the Weekend of Trucking and Artsfest, a highly acclaimed series of workshops, concerts and exhibitions.

Grafton Racecourse is operated by the Clarence River Jockey Club and it hosts approximately 25 meetings annually including the Ramornie Handicap and The Grafton Cup.

The Grafton cup is run on the second Thursday in July at the Grafton Racecourse. The two day Grafton Cup is famous for the amount of bookmakers that stand at the meeting, so punters know they can get a hefty bet set.

For the thoroughbred enthusiast, Grafton is regarded as one of the country capitals of Australian racing.

The Clarence River Jockey Club at Grafton was founded in the same year that the first Melbourne Cup was held and only one year after the AJC opened its racecourse at Randwick.

The Grafton Racecourse has a track circumference of 1940 metres and the home straight is 400 metres long. It has 4 chutes at the 2400 metres, 1750 metres, 1200 metres, and the 1000 metres mark. The width of the track is approx 25 metres wide.

Grafton racecourse features a public and members stand, bar facilities, restaurant and snack bar plus a function centre catering for your non-racing events.

Nearby Racecourses include Coffs Harbour Racecourse, Casino Racecourse and Lismore Racecourse.
