Betting on a Trifectas..

It has never been easier now that TAB's have introduced Flexi Betting for trifectas.

You can increase your chances of winning by having as many trifecta combinations as you want at an outlay to suit your pocket. You decide how much you want to invest on the race.

For example, betting on a box Five Trifecta  usually costs $60.00.  Say  if you want to invest $30 only on the trifecta, and if your selections get up you will receive a percentage of the  final dividend, in this case 50%.  If the trifecta dividend pays $400.00  you would receive $200.00 for your outlay. If you had invested $15.00 on the race you would receive 25% or $100.00 of the final dividend.  In time all other states will follow....

Choosing the right races for trifecta betting  is nearly  as important as selecting the place getters in the race. Some of the factors to consider when selecting the race would be, number of runners in the race, track conditions, class of the race, money in the pool, odds of the runners and so on.  Pro Group Racing takes these and many other factors into consideration when choosing the right race for trifectas. 

Trifectas can be hard enough to score without betting on the wrong race. For example: betting on a track that is heavy is when you may find unfavourable horses running lengths better than predicted, and then being placed in the first 3.  The trifectas will pay very well but having selected those place getters would be difficult.  The only long-shots we want winning is the ones we have selected and predicted. Obviously when these unfavoured horses win or are placed in the first 3 the larger the dividend will pay due to the fact not many people have selected them. The  People who are picking these type of trifectas usually have used their own  lucky no's,  or have picked them out of a hat or similar.

Pro Group Racing selects trifectas on four races each Saturday and public holiday meetings for our members.

Trifecta selections are available after 10am (est.) on  race mornings.  These can be obtained by accessing the members web page or can be sent to you via email or fax at no extra charge.   The races selected by Pro Group Racing for trifectas each week are more likely,  if successful, to pay well due to all factors considered. Obviously luck can play a big part in what the end dividend will pay. 

Things come to those who wait.  There are days when the favorites wins the race with the 2nd and 3rd favorites filling the places. You win on the trifectas but may in fact lose  money because of the amount you outlaid. But then you have the days when you have your 15/1 and your 10/1 and your 20/1 coming 1st and 2nd and 3rd and the favorites no where to be seen.

This is what  we strike for. With Trifectas, like anything else in racing, you won't win every race.  Our aim is to show a healthy profit over the long term.
