The Te Rapa racecourse is six kilometres north of Hamilton. A symmetrical left-handed track with a circumference of 1788 metres.
The Cambridge Jockey Club races three times a year in April (Premier Race Day), June and November at Te Rapa racecourse in Hamilton.
The $85,000 Group 2 Travis Stakes for fillies and mares over 2000 metres and the $70,000 Group 3 Windsor Park Stud Breeders Stakes for three year olds over 1200 metres is Cambridge Jockey Club’s Premier Race Events

Million Dollar Carnival - Te Rapa Racecourse
The Waikato Racing Club also races at Te Rapa Racecourse conducting 15 race days held annually.
Hosted by the Waikato Race Club, is a 2 day Million Dollar Carnival. The highlight of Day 1 is the New Zealand Bloodstock Super Bonus Classique, a Listed race for two year olds.
Day 2 is a Premier fixture featuring three Group races: the Waikato Draught Sprint (Group 1), the Whakanui Stud International Stakes (Group 1) and the Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic (Group 2)
Taumarunui Racing Club races once a year. It is the Listed Race Day being held on the last Saturday of July at the Te Rapa Racecourse in Hamilton.
They are a very strong club who hold very successful race meetings each year with very favourable comments after each meet.
