The BRC Sires Produce Stakes is a Group 3 Australian horse race for 2 year olds run at set weight condtions.

It is contested over a distance of 1400 metres and is held at Eagle Farm Racecourse in June each year.

Prize money for the BRC Sires Produce Stakes is worth $250,000.

From 1980 to 1986 and since 2006 this race held Group 2 Status.

The Group 2 Champagne Classic (1200m) two weeks earlier at Doomben which is raced under the same conditions, but 200 metres further in distance is a good lead up race to this event.

Two-year-olds contesting this event will more than likely go on to the Group 1 TJ Smith Classic (1600m) a week later on Stradbroke Handicap day at Eagle Farm, with Fravashi (2008), Masked Assassin (2007) and Danleigh (2006) all going on to run placings in the TJ Smith.

The BRC Sires Produce Stakes was first run in 1882 and saw Goldfinder cross the finishing line first. Originally held as a Principal race and spanning seven furlongs the distance of the race has not changed since its inception other than converting to the official metric distance of 1400m in 1973.

In 1980 the BRC Sires Produce Stakes was recognised as a Group 2 race and between 1997 and 2005 was raced as a Group 1 event. However since 2006 it has been competed as a Group 2 race. From 1942 to 1945 the race was not held due to the war.

The 2010 BRC Sires Produce Stakes was won by Pressday from Jesse's Girl with Levi's Choice third.

The 2011 BRC Sires Produce Stakes will be run on the 4th June, 2011.
