The Missile Stakes is a Sydney Turf Club Group 3 Australian horse race for 3yos and upwards run at Weight for Age.

It is contested over a distance of 1100 metres at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Sydney in August. It is the first stakes race of the new racing season in Sydney.

Prize money for the Missile Stakes is worth $125,000.

With the new racing season commencing on Sunday 1st August 2010, the Missile Stakes will be held on the following Saturday at Randwick which is Saturday 7th August on the same day as the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes.

Gallopers contesting this event may go on to the Gr2 Premiere Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill and Captain Bax (2008) went on to run second in the Premiere at his next start, while German Chocolate (2007) and Spark Of Life (2004) both managed to win the Bletchingly Stakes & Premiere Stakes double.

The 2010 Missile Stakes winner was Love Conquers All from Danleigh with Sniper's Bullet third.
