Yarra Valley Racecourse is located at Armstrong Grove Yarra Glen Victoria
In 1858 racing in the Yarra Valley commenced at a track built at Brushy Creek in an area then known as Yarra Flats.
In the 1890's the area became known as Yarra Glen and the Yarra Glen Racing Club operated from that time.
The club owned the land freehold until 1972 when the Yarra Glen Racing Club transferred its land ownership to the Victorian Government and the Healesville Trotting Club relocated and became a co-tenant known as the Yarra Glen Harness Racing Club.
In 2004 the Yarra Glen Racing Club Inc and the Yarra Valley Harness Racing Club Inc amalgamated to form Yarra Valley Racing Inc.
The Yarra Valley Racecourse is located at Yarra Glen in the heart of the Yarra Valley, approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne.
Yarra Valley Racing has won the Victorian Country Racing Club of the Year for three years in succession - 2006/7, 2007/8 & 2008/9.
The club's Christmas race meeting was also awarded the Country Racing Victoria Event of the Year.

The course has a wide banking turn from the 600 metres to the home turn. Irrigation and drainage works were completed in September 2008.
