Rangiora Racecourse

Rangiora racecourse, New Zealand.

Rangiora is used as a training track only.

Rangiora is 30km north of Christchurch via the northern motorway taking the "Rangiora" exit ramp and traveling along Lineside Road (next to the main trunk rail line).  The racecourse is in the north west of the town on West Belt.

Labour Weekend Raceday -

This is the biggest raceday of the year for Rangiora. The features are the Listed $50,000 Slade Farm Canterbury Stakes for three year olds while the open horses contest the Waimakariri Businesses North Canterbury Cup. Both provide valuable lead in to Cup Week at Riccarton Park in November.
